Partes de Suiza, Austria y Alemania fueron sorprendidas por una nevada intempestiva durante la noche, después de una fuerte caída de las temperaturas y de fuertes precipitaciones.
La agencia meteorológica suiza dijo el sábado que la ciudad de Montana, en el sur del cantón (estado) de Valais, experimentó 25 centímetros (casi 10 pulgadas) de nevada, un nuevo récord para esta época del año.
Las autoridades estaban en activo en las regiones montañosas de las dos naciones alpinas para limpiar las carreteras bloqueadas por la nieve y el hielo.
