Las autoridades están investigando después de que un ataque de perro se cobrara la vida de un bebé el lunes por la mañana.
Los padres del bebé dijeron que estaban durmiendo en su cama con el niño cuando "una gran cantidad de movimiento" los despertó, dijeron los investigadores. El padre del niño dijo a la policía que cuando despertó, vio "heridas extensas en el niño" e inmediatamente le practicó la eutanasia al perro.
La policía encontró al canino, un pastor alemán mestizo, muerto en el patio trasero de la familia. Los padres de la víctima dijeron a la policía que el perro no había sido agresivo anteriormente.
La policía dijo que los padres están cooperando con la investigación, que está en curso.
